Sirf Tum (1999)

Deepak, a young man struggling to make a living, finds a lost purse and returns it to its owner, Aarti, who lives in a distant town. A thank-you letter turns into a correspondence, and the two fall deeply in love through their letters, making a pact never to meet until the time is right. Life tests that promise, as both of them cross paths with other people and nearly brush past each other without knowing it. Agathiyan remade his own National Award-winning Tamil film Kadhal Kottai, and the Hindi version became a hit thanks to its innocent premise and Nadeem-Shravan's soundtrack, which includes "Pehli Pehli Baar Mohabbat Ki Hai", "Ek Mulaqat Zaroori Hai Sanam" and "Dilbar Dilbar".
