Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015)

Vasudha works as a florist in a hotel and is raising her young son alone; her husband Hari disappeared years ago, believed to be involved in terrorism. Aarav, the wealthy owner of a hotel chain, is drawn to her quiet dignity, and she slowly lets herself love again. When Hari suddenly reappears, possessive and bitter, Vasudha is trapped between duty and her own happiness. Hamari Adhuri Kahani ("our unfinished story") was written by Mahesh Bhatt, who based it partly on the story of his own mother, and directed by Mohit Suri. Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi lead, with Rajkummar Rao as the troubled husband, and the title song sung by Arijit Singh became a hit.
