Twin brothers are separated as babies: one grows up rich and refined, the other as a streetwise brawler. Linked by a strange bond, each feels what happens to the other, so a punch thrown at one makes the other flinch miles away, which causes no end of trouble when they fall in love and run into the same villains without knowing the other exists. Hello Brother takes its premise from the Jackie Chan film Twin Dragons and turned it into one of the biggest Telugu comedy hits of the 1990s, with Nagarjuna playing both brothers opposite Ramya Krishna and Soundarya. David Dhawan's Hindi film Judwaa (1997), with Salman Khan, was a remake of it. Raj–Koti's songs were chartbusters.
