Badnaam Gali (2019)

Nayan, an easy-going young Delhi man living with his family, is intrigued by Nayantara, the independent woman who moves into the neighbourhood, and quickly falls for her. Then he learns she is pregnant and acting as a surrogate mother, and the gossip of the lane, his own family's prejudices and his feelings for her all collide. Badnaam Gali ("the street with a bad name") is a gentle Hindi romantic comedy-drama that uses its premise to look at how society judges women and surrogacy. Divyenndu, known for Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and Patralekhaa play the leads.
