Daana Kaayonu (2016)

Daana Kaayonu ("the one who tends cattle") is a Kannada comedy-drama from Yogaraj Bhat, the director of the blockbuster Mungaru Male, known for witty dialogue and offbeat characters. Duniya Vijay, usually cast in tough action roles, plays a simple herder in a village, and Priyamani is the strong-willed woman he falls for. The film relies on earthy humour, regional flavour and Bhat's wordplay rather than heavy action, with songs by V. Harikrishna. It was released in Hindi under the title Jungbaaz.
