Chulbul Pandey, the self-styled Robin Hood cop, has settled down with his wife Rajjo, his father and his younger brother Makhi, and takes up a new posting in Kanpur. There he comes up against Bachcha Bhaiya, a ruthless local don with political ambitions and a set of violent brothers, and the clash soon gets personal, threatening the family Chulbul holds dear. Dabangg 2 is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster and the first film directed by Arbaaz Khan, who directed and produced the film as well as playing Makhi. It keeps the formula of the original, with Salman Khan's trademark swagger, comic one-liners and stylised slow-motion fights, and Kareena Kapoor's special number Fevicol Se became one of the biggest dance hits of the year. Prakash Raj plays the villain.
