Description

Guru scrapes by on petty jobs in Mumbai until he lands in trouble with a gangster who offers him a way out: find a girl who looks exactly like the woman in a painting, a face that a powerful man is obsessed with. Guru goes looking and finds her in Tamil Nadu, but the closer he gets the less he wants to hand her over, and he ends up on the run with half the underworld behind him. Dagaalty (slang for a con or a trick) is a vehicle for comedian-turned-hero Santhanam, mixing his quick verbal humour with action set pieces, and Yogi Babu adds comic support. Bengali actress Rittika Sen plays the heroine.
