Damayanti (2019)

Damayanti is a Kannada period horror fantasy directed by Navarasan, with Radhika Kumaraswamy in the title role. A group of people takes refuge in a grand old mansion, where they discover the story of Damayanti, a woman from the past whose tragic fate has left her spirit bound to the house, seeking vengeance on those who wronged her. The film combines a flashback set in an earlier era with present-day scares, visual effects and Radhika's dual presence as a regal figure and a vengeful ghost.
