Dana Kayonu (2016)

Dana Kayonu ("cattle herder") is a Kannada comedy from director Yogaraj Bhat, known for his quirky storytelling and witty songs. Duniya Vijay, usually seen in tough action roles, plays a rough-and-ready village cowherd whose life takes a strange turn when the film world enters it, with Priyamani as the heroine and Rangayana Raghu adding comedy. The film plays on the gap between village innocence and the absurdities of show business, in Bhat's playful, earthy style.
