Dasara Bullodu is a 1971 Telugu village drama produced and directed by V. B. Rajendra Prasad, starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao as a lively, good-natured young villager, with Vanisri as the woman he loves. Veterans S. V. Ranga Rao and Gummadi play the elders whose authority and family loyalties shape the story, and Chandrakala has a key role. The film blends romance, rural life and family conflict, and its folk-flavoured songs by K. V. Mahadevan were hugely popular. It was one of the major Telugu hits of its year and helped cement the ANR and Vanisri pairing.
