Tuneega Tuneega is a Telugu romance directed by producer-director M. S. Raju, best known as the man behind hits such as Okkadu and Varsham. The film launched his son Sumanth Ashwin as a hero and was also the screen debut of Rhea Chakraborty, who went on to Hindi films such as Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Jalebi. The story follows a boy and girl who are inseparable as children until a rift between their families pulls them apart; years later they meet again and old feelings return, but the grown-ups in their lives stand in the way. The film is a gentle, music-driven love story with family emotion at its centre, and its songs, scored by Karthik Raja, were part of its promotion. It is mainly of interest as an early look at Rhea Chakraborty.
