Tej is a cheerful young man who carries the weight of an incident from his youth that changed his relationship with his family. He meets a lively young woman who has come to India from abroad, and a playful romance blossoms, until twists of fate and the truth about the past complicate things and Tej has to fight for the relationship. The film was directed by A. Karunakaran, maker of the romantic classic Tholi Prema, and reunited him with producer K. S. Rama Rao. It is a soft romantic drama rather than an action film, despite its Hindi dub name.
