Maa Aur Mamta (1970)

Maa Aur Mamta ("mother and motherly love") is a 1970 Hindi family drama from Asit Sen, the director of Mamta and Khamoshi, starring Ashok Kumar, Nutan and a young Jeetendra. As the title indicates, the story centres on a mother's love and sacrifice, a theme Sen handled with sensitivity in several films. It is a lesser-seen title of the period.
