After a series of bomb blasts and murders across Dhaka, the police discover that a terrorist network is preparing a much bigger strike. A bomb-disposal officer, a SWAT team commander and an investigating officer, with a journalist on the story, follow a trail that leads to a hotel and a hostage crisis in which many innocent lives are at stake. Dhaka Attack was the debut feature of Dipankar Dipon and was written by Sunny Sanwar, a serving police officer, which gave the film its detailed portrait of police procedure. It became one of the biggest Bangladeshi hits of 2017, praised for production values unusual for the industry, and was followed by a sequel project.
