Description

Swami is a carefree middle-class man supporting his family; Anand Chakravarthy is the heir to a giant corporation; and they happen to look identical. When Pranavi, a young woman being pushed into marriage, gets caught between the two, and a ruthless industrialist moves to take over Anand's father's company, the confusion between Swami and Anand becomes the engine of a fast-paced mass entertainer. Dhamaka ("blast") is built on Ravi Teja's energy, with comedy, action and dances, and Sreeleela's dancing alongside him was much talked about. Bheems Ceciroleo's songs such as "Jinthaak" were hits, and the film became one of the biggest commercial successes of Ravi Teja's career.
