Southall United is a small football club for the South Asian community in London, and it is about to lose its ground for good. Tony Singh, a former star turned coach, gathers a ragtag team of players to win enough to save the club, and he pins his hopes on Sunny Bhasin, a talented striker who has always kept his distance from the community and wants to play for a big English side. Sunny must decide where he belongs, while a romance with the team's doctor Rumana and the racism of opposing clubs raise the stakes. Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal is a sports drama about identity, belonging and the Indian diaspora in Britain, with much of the film shot in England. John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi lead the cast, and Pritam's soundtrack includes the popular Billo Rani.
