Dharma Chakkaram (1997)

Dharma Chakkaram ("the wheel of righteousness") is a 1997 Tamil action drama starring Vijayakanth, the hugely popular action hero of the period, with Rambha and Deepti Bhatnagar as the female leads. True to its title and to Vijayakanth's screen image, the film casts him as a principled man who stands up against corruption and cruelty, with family emotion, songs and plenty of fight scenes along the way. Deepti Bhatnagar, a former model known from Hindi films, made one of her few Tamil appearances here.
