Dharma Pathini (1986)

Dharma Pathini ("the righteous wife") is a 1986 Tamil family drama directed by Ameerjaan, starring Karthik and Jeevitha, with Radha Ravi and comedian Senthil in support and songs by Ilaiyaraaja. As the title suggests, the story centres on a wife's devotion and the trials her marriage and family face, with emotion, conflict and comedy in the style of 1980s Tamil family films.
