Dhimaner Dinkaal ("Dhiman's days") is a 2018 Bengali comedy directed by Anindo Sarkar, with Saswata Chatterjee in the lead as Dhiman. Saswata, famous for the chilling Bob Biswas in Kahaani, here plays an everyday middle-class man whose routine of work, home and marriage is turned upside down by a run of misunderstandings and small crises. Sreelekha Mitra and Sudipta Banerjee co-star. The film works in the tradition of Bengali comedies about ordinary city life, relying on character, conversation and situational humour rather than slapstick.
