Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa (2004)

Rishabh, a successful advertising professional, is happily married to Parineeta, a warm-hearted doctor whose dream is to build a hospital for children. Then a sudden tragedy takes her from him, and Rishabh retreats into grief. Life brings him into contact with Dhani, a young doctor who, without knowing it, is linked to Parineeta in the most intimate way: she has received her heart. Rishabh finds himself unaccountably drawn to her, and Dhani is drawn to him, while both struggle with what their feelings mean. The film was the second directed by actor Atul Agnihotri, Salman Khan's brother-in-law, and the music is by Himesh Reshammiya. Its heart-transplant premise and the warmth of the Salman-Preity pairing are its main draws.
