Dilwale Kabhi Na Hare (1992)

Dilwale Kabhi Na Hare ("lovers never lose") is a 1992 Hindi romantic drama directed by V. Menon, starring Rahul Roy, then riding on the huge success of Aashiqui, with Prithvi and Nagma. The story centres on friendship and romance, with love and loyalty pulling the young leads in different directions. Like many films of that brief Rahul Roy wave, it leans heavily on its songs, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, the duo who had scored Aashiqui. It is a period piece of early-1990s Hindi romance.
