Do Ankhen Barah Hath (1997)

Do Ankhen Barah Hath is a 1997 Hindi action drama directed by Kirti Kumar, Govinda's elder brother, who directed him in several films. It shares its title with V. Shantaram's celebrated 1957 film about a jailer and six convicts but is a separate story, built around Govinda in an emotional, action-oriented role, with Sadashiv Amrapurkar in a strong supporting part. It was made in the 1990s when Govinda was at the height of his popularity, though it is far less known than his comedies of the period.
