Do Lafzon Ki Kahani (2016)

Sooraj was once a promising boxer; now he scrapes a living in Kuala Lumpur as a bouncer and street fighter, closed off from everyone. He meets Jenny, a cheerful blind woman who works in a call centre and refuses to let her disability define her. Their friendship grows into a gentle romance, and Sooraj begins fighting again for the money that might restore her sight. But he carries a secret connected to how she lost it, and the past starts closing in. The film is an official adaptation of the 2011 South Korean romance Always and was shot largely in Malaysia. Randeep Hooda, who trained hard to play the fighter, and Kajal Aggarwal anchor the film; it was directed by actor Deepak Tijori and released in 2016.
