Do Number Ke Ameer (1974)

Do Number Ke Ameer is a 1974 Hindi crime drama directed by P. D. Shenoy, starring Sujit Kumar, Asha Sachdev and Roopesh Kumar, with Jalal Agha and A. K. Hangal. The title is slang for people who have grown rich through illegal money, and the film draws on the period's fascination with smugglers and crooked fortunes, pitting honest characters against men of easy money. It is a small production with the action, songs and moral contest typical of its decade.
