Ravi Teja is a wealthy industrialist whose life is a misery: his wife and in-laws dominate him and people around him are quietly working against him. Nagaraju is a cheeky small-time thief who happens to be his exact double. When their paths cross, the two exchange places, and Nagaraju walks into the businessman's mansion, his marriage and his enemies, setting the household straight with streetwise cheek while the real Ravi Teja discovers another way to live. Chiranjeevi plays both roles, with Bhanupriya, Madhavi and Radhika as the women in their lives. Directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, one of Chiranjeevi's most frequent collaborators, the film was based on a novel by Yandamuri Veerendranath and was one of the star's popular hits of the late 1980s.
