Description

Dongri Ka Raja is a 2016 Hindi gangster romance set in the old Mumbai neighbourhood of Dongri, long associated in popular imagination with the city's underworld. Marathi actor Gashmeer Mahajani, in his Hindi debut, plays Raja, a young man working for a feared local boss played by Ronit Roy. His loyalties are tested when he falls for a young woman (Reecha Sinha) who belongs to a very different world, and the film weighs love against the pull of the gang. Ronit Roy brings his familiar intensity to the role of the don.
