Doorie (1989)

Doorie ("distance") is a 1989 Hindi drama directed by Raj Dutt, starring Sharmila Tagore with Marc Zuber and Vikram Gokhale. It comes from the later phase of Tagore's career, when she had moved from glamorous leads to mature, character-driven parts, and it pairs her with the acclaimed Marathi stage and screen actor Vikram Gokhale. The film is a small, relationship-centred drama rather than a commercial entertainer.
