Surkhiyaan (1985)

Surkhiyaan ("the headlines") is a 1985 Hindi film directed by Ashok Tyagi, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Suresh Oberoi and Moon Moon Sen. As its title suggests, it deals with events that make the news. It comes from the period when actors of the parallel cinema such as Shah and Oberoi were moving between art films and mainstream productions.
