Kasethan Kadavulada (2023)

Kasethan Kadavulada ("money is God") is a 2023 Tamil comedy directed by R. Kannan, remaking the classic 1972 comedy of the same name, which is still fondly remembered in Tamil households. The story follows a young man who, desperate for cash, hatches an elaborate scheme with a friend to trick his money-minded family into giving up their wealth, setting off a chain of disguises and confusions. Mirchi Shiva, known for his deadpan spoof comedies, takes the lead, with Yogi Babu adding his popular comic presence.
