Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012)

Saravanan is an idle young man in Chennai who falls for Meera at first sight and sets about pursuing her with more enthusiasm than sense. She finds him irritating, her family is unimpressed, and his only ally is his friend Partha, who has woes of his own and ends up paying for most of Saravanan's plans. M. Rajesh, known for Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss Engira Bhaskaran, keeps the story light and the jokes coming. The film was the acting debut of producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, and Santhanam's rapid-fire comedy as Partha was its biggest draw; it was one of the big Tamil hits of 2012.
