Aadhi lives a comfortable life on the edges of the law in Thailand. A chance meeting with a beautiful, mysterious woman draws him into a scheme that takes him to India and into the world of Bhagavan, a feared and unpredictable gangster who is his exact double. As the plans of everyone around him come into focus, Aadhi has to work out who is using whom. Jayam Ravi plays both men, contrasting the suave Aadhi with the wild, menacing Bhagavan, with Neetu Chandra as the woman who brings them together. The film was director Ameer's long-awaited follow-up to his acclaimed village drama Paruthiveeran, a slick gangster thriller with Yuvan Shankar Raja's music and foreign locations, and it took several years to make.
