Aambala (2015)

Saravanan and his brothers learn that their father had three sisters who cut ties with him long ago over a family quarrel. To reunite the family, the brothers decide to win over their aunts by romancing their daughters, but the aunts are formidable women, one of them married to a dangerous politician, and every attempt triggers fresh chaos. Aambala ("the man") is a Pongal 2015 masala comedy from Sundar C., the director of Kalakalappu and Aranmanai, with Vishal also producing. Santhanam handles much of the comedy, Ramya Krishnan, Kiran and Aishwarya play the three aunts, and the music marked Hiphop Tamizha's first major film as composer.
