Description

Tamasha is a 1952 Hindi film directed by Phani Majumdar for Bombay Talkies, the studio where Ashok Kumar had become a star. It brings together three of the decade's biggest names, Dev Anand, Meena Kumari and Ashok Kumar, early in the careers of the younger two. It is a black-and-white drama with songs, of a kind typical of the studio in its later years.
