Ee Pattanathil Bhootham (2009)

Ee Pattanathil Bhootham ("A ghost in this town") is a 2009 Malayalam fantasy comedy directed by Johny Antony, in which Mammootty takes on the unusual role of a good-natured ghost who becomes caught up in the lives of the people of a small town, especially its children. Kavya Madhavan plays the heroine, and veteran comedians Innocent and Jagathy Sreekumar add to the fun. The film is a broad, gentle entertainer aimed at family audiences rather than a horror film.
