A young man prizes silence above everything; loud sounds make his life miserable. Into the flat next door moves a young woman whose passion fills the air with noise, and their first meetings are nothing but complaints and arguments. Gradually the irritation turns into curiosity and then affection, though neither finds it easy to admit. Guvva Gorinka (a name for a pair of birds, hence its Hindi title Love Birds) is a gentle 2020 Telugu romantic comedy directed by Mohan Bammidi, starring Satyadev, with Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna adding comic support. It went straight to a digital release during the pandemic period and is a quiet, small-scale film built on its quirky premise and the charm of its leads.
