Kadha Innuvare ("the story so far") is a 2024 Malayalam drama directed by Vishnu Mohan that weaves together four love stories involving characters of different ages and circumstances, from a schoolboy's first crush to a middle-aged man whose quiet affection for a widow puts him at odds with convention, with each romance tested by class, religion or the judgement of neighbours. Biju Menon leads the cast, and the dancer Methil Devika makes her acting debut opposite him, with Anusree, Nikhila Vimal and Anna Ben in other strands. The film is a Malayalam adaptation of the acclaimed Telugu film C/o Kancharapalem, and like the original it saves its biggest surprise about how the stories connect for the end. It is a gentle, reflective film about love and social prejudice.
