Karthik arrives at the home of a rich family with a purpose he keeps to himself, and he soon wins over its members while falling for the daughter of the house. As he works his way into their lives, the story reveals an old injustice between two families that he is quietly trying to undo. The film is a family entertainer in the Telugu mould, mixing romance, a long run of comedy set pieces led by Brahmanandam, songs and a few action scenes. It was a lead vehicle for Sushanth, nephew of Nagarjuna, opposite Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa in one of her early Telugu roles.
