Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo (2002)

A young man and a young woman fall in love, but family pride and old enmities stand between them, and the trouble threatens to turn violent. Standing over the story is Nandamuri Harikrishna, son of N. T. Rama Rao, as a powerful, principled elder whose sense of justice and affection for family steer events. The film mixes romance, family sentiment and village-style confrontations, with M. M. Keeravani's songs a big part of its appeal. Directed and produced by Y. V. S. Chowdary, it introduced Aditya Om and Ankitha to Telugu audiences in lead roles and was a commercial success in 2002.
