Since childhood Shekar has worshipped Chinna, a gangster who seems to him the very picture of courage. Grown up and hot-headed, he becomes Chinna's most trusted man, fighting his battles with rival gangs and corrupt officials. Then he falls in love with Shalini, and the violent life he chose starts to collide with the future she offers him. Bheemaa was a long-delayed, much-awaited reunion of director N. Linguswamy, after Run and Sandakozhi, with Vikram and Trisha. Harris Jayaraj's songs, including 'Mudhal Mazhai', were popular, and Prakash Raj's Chinna is one of the film's strongest elements.
