Raahee (1987)

Raahee ("the traveller") is a Hindi drama directed by Raman Kumar, known for the 1982 film Saath Saath. Its cast is its main draw: Shatrughan Sinha in the lead alongside two of the finest actors of their generation, Sanjeev Kumar and Smita Patil. Both had died by the time the film came out in 1987 (Sanjeev Kumar in 1985 and Smita Patil in 1986), so it is one of several delayed releases that reached audiences after their deaths. The film is little discussed today, but it offers a chance to see these performers together in one of their last screen appearances.
