Datta (2006)

Datta is a Kannada action drama starring Darshan, one of the biggest mass heroes of Kannada cinema, opposite Ramya. He plays Datta, a generous, hot-tempered man who protects those around him and takes on the local bullies and criminals who prey on them, while a romance develops with the heroine. Directed by Chi. Guru Dutt, it follows the familiar template of Darshan's films of the period: punchy dialogues, fights, family emotion and songs.
