Description

Sowkarpettai, named after the old trading quarter of Chennai, is a revenge horror film in which greed for property and money leads to the killing of a family, and the spirit left behind comes back to settle accounts. Srikanth appears in a dual role and Raai Laxmi plays the heroine, with Suman as a powerful figure caught up in the story. The film follows the familiar ghost-revenge formula of mid-2010s Tamil horror, mixing scares, songs and comedy with supernatural action.
