Sagar is a skilled diver in the Bahamas who knows the location of a sunken ship, the Lady in Blue, said to carry a fortune, but has sworn never to touch it because of what it cost his family. His wealthy friend Aarav keeps pushing him to go after it. When Sagar's younger brother Sam gets into debt with a dangerous gangster, the treasure becomes the only way out, and the friends must dive into shark-filled waters while racing the villains. Blue was among the most expensive Indian films of its time and was promoted as Bollywood's first underwater action film, with extensive diving sequences shot in the Bahamas. A. R. Rahman composed the score, and the song Chiggy Wiggy featured Australian pop star Kylie Minogue.
