Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012)

Rahul Kapoor has always done what his demanding parents expected, until he loses his job in Las Vegas and hides it from them. On a lonely Christmas night he meets Riana, an impulsive hairstylist with troubles of her own; after a wild night of drinking they wake up married. The annulment is easy enough, but the friendship that grows between them is not, especially once they are back home in Mumbai and Rahul begins to want more than she does. Shakun Batra's debut sidesteps the usual romantic-comedy ending and is more interested in how two very different people change each other. Amit Trivedi's songs, including Auntyji and Gubbare, suit its quirky tone, and Imran Khan plays nicely off Kareena Kapoor's energy.
