El Vampiro

A LibriVox recording. LibriVox was started in 2005 by Hugh McGuire on a simple premise: volunteers read books that are already in the public domain, chapter by chapter, and the resulting recordings are themselves placed in the public domain rather than merely licensed. That second part is the unusual one — it means these files carry no restriction at all on copying, broadcasting or reuse, which is not true of most free audio. The readers are unpaid volunteers rather than professional narrators, so voices, accents and recording conditions vary from chapter to chapter; that unevenness is a consequence of the model and not a fault in any particular file. Catalogued in September 2019. Filed under Novels & Classics. The author of the underlying work is not recorded on this item and is deliberately not guessed here.
