Endrendrum Punnagai (2013)

Gautham has distrusted women since his mother walked out when he was a boy. With his two closest friends, Sri and Baby, he has built a carefree bachelor life in Chennai, running an advertising business and swearing that none of them will ever marry. When one friend breaks the vow, the trio falls apart, and Gautham is left proud and alone, working alongside Priya, a colleague who sees straight through his armour. What follows is a gentle, funny story about friendship, grudges and learning to let people in. Director I. Ahmed gives the film a polished, urban look, Harris Jayaraj's soundtrack was one of the big albums of the year, and Santhanam's one-liners keep the mood light. Trisha and Jiiva make an easy, grown-up pair.
