Ennodu Vilayadu (2017)

Ennodu Vilayadu ("play with me") is a 2017 Tamil thriller set around the racecourse and the betting that surrounds it. Bharath and Kathir play two young men drawn into gambling on horses, one through ambition and the other through need, and their paths cross as the stakes and the risks keep rising. Chandini Tamilarasan plays the female lead. The film is one of the few Tamil productions built around horse racing, and its main draw is that unusual backdrop of tips, bookies and race-day tension, with the rivalry between its two leads at the centre. Bharath, known for films such as Kaadhal, and Kathir, who later starred in Pariyerum Perumal, share the screen as the two leads.
