Description

Escape was CBS's high-adventure anthology, which opened by asking listeners if they were tired of the everyday grind. On 2 June 1950 it broadcast Ray Bradbury's 'Mars Is Heaven' - a crew lands on Mars and finds their own home town waiting, with the people they have buried living in it. Bradbury later folded the story into The Martian Chronicles.
