This is the Veracruz outlet of EXA FM, the nationwide pop network run by MVS Radio in Mexico, heard on 93.3 MHz in the port city of Veracruz under the call sign XHPS-FM. It runs the standard EXA chart format, current hits in Spanish and English aimed at a young audience. The frequency goes back to a 1977 concession and passed through MVS's romantic FM Globo format, then a spell as Pulsar FM from 1999, before taking the EXA FM brand in 2000.
