Description

Govinda plays Raju, a spirited young man from a poor background who falls in love and clashes with powerful men whose crimes have hurt his family. His quest for justice leads to fights, revenge and confrontations, all leavened with romance, comedy and plenty of songs. Shilpa Shetty and Sonali Bendre play the two women in his life, and Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor bring the familiar mix of comedy and villainy of 1990s masala. The film is notable as Sonali Bendre's debut and an early lead for Shilpa Shetty, and it belongs to the stretch of years when Govinda was rising as one of the busiest stars in Hindi cinema.
